Larry Abramson is a Managing Director of the Group and Chief Executive Officer of Camerican International, Inc., where he has served for more than 20 years. In addition to his responsibilities for operations and general management, Larry is active in sales, procurement and business development. Larry is a member of various trade associations, including the Association of Food Industries, where he has served on the Board of Directors and chaired several committees. He also became Chairman of the Board of the Food Institute. Larry obtained a BA degree in history from the University of Wisconsin and an MS degree in psychology from Hofstra University.

Paul Blake is a Managing Director of the Group and President of Finica Food Specialties Limited in Canada. Paul joined Finica in 1995 as general manager and has been instrumental in driving the growth for goat cheese at both Finica and Atalanta. Paul graduated from George Brown College in Toronto, and did further studies at Ryerson University focusing on Marketing and Sales. Paul has over 30 years experience in the food business—both foodservice and retail—and primarily in cheese. Paul sits as an Executive Member of the International Cheese Council of Canada, and also serves as an active member of the Ontario Cheese Society, and the American Cheese Society.

Bernard F. Lillis, Jr. is a Managing Director of the Group. Bernie received his undergraduate degree in Accounting from St. John Fisher College and attended the MBA program at Rochester Institute of Technology. He is a CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York, New Jersey, and Florida State Societies of CPA’s. He has worked in public accounting with Deloitte and Touche and has been Chief Financial Officer for several private and public companies. In 2004 he joined the Gellert Global Group as Consultant to the Chairman of the Board. Bernie conducts negotiations and due diligence reviews on Merger and Acquisition projects for the Group and serves as CFO of Tipico Products Co, Inc., DeMedici Imports, Ltd., and Swiss Chalet Fine Foods.

Marian Nitu is a Managing Director of the Group and the head of the Group’s Romanian Operations. He operates from London and coordinates Romanian exports and imports. He is a graduate of the Foreign Trade University in Bucharest. He joined Messrs. Prodexport, S.A.; the state owned trading company in charge of all exports and imports foodstuffs. In 1986, Marion joined Atalanta (UK) Ltd., a joint venture between Atalanta Corporation and Prodexport S.A., as Managing Director. After the overthrow of Nicolae Ceausescu’s communist regime in 1989, he was briefly involved in Romanian politics, between 1990 and 1991, holding the position of Under-Secretary of State in the Ministry of Agriculture in the first democratically elected Romanian government.

Stephen O’Mara is a Managing Director of the Group and President of J. F. Braun & Sons, Inc. In 1991, Stephen graduated from Mount St. Mary’s College with a BS in Business and Finance with a concentration in International Studies. Stephen began his career in international business in Philadelphia with BDP, a full-service, integrated logistics company. After five years of service in various capacities from international documentation to traffic duties, Stephen joined Atalanta Corporation. Here, Stephen gained experience in the sales and purchasing of commodities, eventually managing a division focused on special projects. In 1999 the Gellert Global Group acquired J. F. Braun & Sons, Inc. from ConAgra, and Stephen transferred to J. F. Braun as Vice President. Stephen became President of J.F. Braun, in 2005. Steve is a member of the Board of Directors for the Association of Food Industries.

Tom DeCarlo is a Managing Director of the Group and Chief Financial Officer of Atalanta Corporation. Tom received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickenson University and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of New Jersey. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of CPA’s. Tom has over 27 years of diversified experience in luxury fashion, consumer products, retail, wholesale, manufacturing, and licensing industries. His background includes internal audit (specializing in financial, operational and I/T controls auditing) and Big Four public accounting working for companies that include Petrie Stores Corporation, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Gucci Group, J. Crew Group, Joseph Abboud and Belstaff. The various roles have given him a broad view of potential financial problems and solutions.
